One hundred Australian Air Force Cadets recently travelled to Townsville from as far north as Cairns, as far south as Mackay and as far west as Charters Towers for an exhilarating experience of abseiling down Mount Stuart.

The expression on their faces was a true indication of their new-found confidence and pride that comes with completing such a challenge.

“It was an adrenalin rush. I would love to do it again,” said Cadet Ivy
Symons-Roberts.
