Army Cadet Exchange

ACE LogoCall for Applications - 2010

Ever wondered what Army Cadets in other countries get up to?  Interested in foreign travel?  How about when someone else pays for your airfare??  That's right! ACE is back in 2010 and now is the time to apply for cadets and staff.

Recently released to all regions is the 2010 ACE Application Pack linked below. You'll need to read the call for applications, and fill out the applicable application form.  The eligibility criteria can be found within the document.  ACS Escort applicants should note that this year the minimum age has been reduced from 25 to 21.

Complete your application carefully!  Last year we received far too many poorly filled out applications - simple mistakes on your form shows us that you didn't read it carefully.  The level of effort we are after from you on the application is a small price to pay for the opportunity you will potentially be offered.  This includes the fitness test - You must be physically fit.  In previous years exchange, the Australian Cadets were put through their paces on activities such as but not limited to mountainous pack marches, biathlons and SCUBA diving.  The countries involved will have amazing programs on offer so it is essential that we send the people best prepared to participate in those programs.

Once you have filled out all the relevant bits and pieces on the form, send it up to be filled out by the relevant person through your chain of command to your Regional HQ.
